Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a high energy, innovative, imaginative and experienced Director of Business Development to join our Business Development Team in our Fairfax, VA office. This position is REMOTE and CAN TELEWORK as needed thoughout this pandemic. There will be required travel to Aberdeen MD and other customer sites as requested. The successful candidate will operate as a member of the business development team and must possess the skill and acumen to work with DSA employeestechnical staff, consultants, and business partners in completing business development. As a Business Development Director, you must be 100 comfortable and effective using TEAMS and Videoconferencing. Responsibilities Develop an detailed understanding of DSA offerings, past performance, technical methodologies, and current programs Conduct market research and analysis to identify and qualify business opportunities Work with operational business units to conduct gap and competitive analysis Identify and establish relationships with industry teaming partners relative to specific pursuits Develop and execute business capture and campaign strategies, to include applying relevant contract vehicles, identifying and managing partner relationships, defining solutions, locating resources, responding to solicitations, and communicating with customers Market DSA offerings to customers via customers meetings and industry events Establish customer relationships to identify and shape customer requirements Support all aspects of proposal development, as required. This includes serving as proposal manager, proposal coordinator, volume lead, or proposal writer, as required Prepare Requests for Information and respond to Sources Sought Announcements Ensure completion of entries for the DSA CRM and continuously update Prepare and deliver capture and gate reviews and develop bidno-bid recommendations for opportunities Required Qualifications 5 or more years of experience of experience and expertise performing business development in an information technology professional services company supporting the Department of Defense.
